About Mike
One burning desire
Mike Myers wants to see people who are far from God come to know Him personally, and to see the church become all it can be in the name of Jesus.
He is the Senior Pastor of Lifted Church and travels to preach the Gospel wherever God opens a door.
Mike has served in ministry since 2007, starting as a youth camp director. At Miami Baptist Church he served as youth and singles director, then as associate pastor after his ordination in 2016, and later as Teaching Pastor, writing the sermon series and creative content for the whole church. As Miami-Dade club coordinator for First Priority of South Florida, he led Bible clubs on public-school campuses across the county and preached in schools where hundreds of students made decisions for Christ.
He holds a B.S. in Psychology from Liberty University, is completing his Master of Divinity at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and is a graduate of the DeVos Urban Leadership Initiative. He is writing his first book, Faith That Fuels.
Mike is a husband and a dad first. Off the platform you'll find him at the smoker or the driving range.

What Pastor Mike believes
- The Bible is the inspired, trustworthy Word of God and our final authority for faith and life.
- There is one God, eternally existing as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
- Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He lived without sin, died for our sins, rose bodily from the grave and will return.
- Salvation is a free gift of God's grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone.
- The church is God's plan to reach the world, and every believer is called to make disciples.
